This clipping is missing the vital part that leads up to this, that includes the interaction between Rachael and Deckard and when Wallace asks if it's the same, now, as then. A masterpiece, an opera that can Walk on his own legs without affecting Scott's Blade Runner. Another example of incredibile sequel could be mad max: Fury road by Miller. My favorite film of 2017. What a shame it bombed at the box office, but then again so did the first Blade Runner. I absolutely love this movie I love how they have redefined Spy movies, Eggsy Harry and Merlin are so badass. I would love to see a 3rd movie and see their new setup. I might be optimistic that I feel they can save Merlin but guess we will see. plus I would like to see more Statemen as well.

I love the differences between Wallace and Tyrell. The way each of them perceives their creations is so different, but either viewpoint is very plausible. And even though Tyrell is the nicer of the two, one could easily argue that he's far more villainous than Wallace is. These are the two greatest science fiction films ever made. 2:35 MFW you're shocked with what your friend said, but pretend to agree with him anyway.

Crazy Fun movie - thanks. In my teens Blade Runner bored me; in my twenties, I was mildly interested in it; and in my thirties, I consider it one of the most beautiful films ever made. Blade Runner 2049 blew me away, it expands tremendously on the themes and universe the first film dove into. But there's still more to reveal. It was in this moment I knew true horror. Wallice had already killed a newborn just to have a prop to pontificate with. Yet here. Imagine seeing your grandfather having had to live thirty years after the death of the woman he loved. Then seeing her in the fullness and prime of her life to meet him at the end of his whispering honied words. All because some. man shaped thing wanted something he had. This was the moment where Wallice went from unhinged god complex, to 'pure evil...

I would be capitally interested in knowing why you find The Two Towers to be a good sequel. I'd like to be able to enjoy that movie, but as an adherent of the books, too much gets in my way and what gets in my way feels too much like ephemera that didn't need to be there. Anyhoo, great vid.

The first time I saw this movie I was tripping balls on acid, it was one of the greatest experiences of my entire life.

This use of shadow and the ripple effects in this scene reminded me a lot of Marlon Brando in Apocalypse Now.

Holy shit, i was so astonished when I saw this scene, it's mind-blowing, the music for this scene is out of space.
